Privacy Policy

Soulign (“we,” “us,” or “Soulign”) is an AI-powered tool for self-reflection and personal growth. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. We've tried to write it plainly. We collect only what we need to make Soulign personal and useful to you:

• Your name and email address
• Birth data you provide (date, time, and location of birth)
• Birth chart computations derived from that birth data
• Journal entries you write
• Mood and energy data you log
• Goals, milestones, and goal progress
• Weekly check-in responses
• Chat messages and reflections you share with the AI

We use your information to:

• Generate personalized AI readings and insights
• Track your goals and reflect your progress back to you
• Operate, maintain, and improve the service

We do not use your personal content for advertising, and we do not sell your data. See “Third-Party Services” below for the limited processors that help us run Soulign.

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security enabled, so each account can only access its own records. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). We restrict internal access to what is necessary to operate and support the service.

We share data only with the processors required to deliver core functionality:

• Anthropic — the Claude API generates your AI readings, plans, and summaries.
• Astrology API — computes your birth chart from the birth data you provide.
• Vercel — hosts the application and serves it to your browser.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

You can view, export, or delete all of your data at any time from the Settings page. If you delete your account, we begin removing your associated data promptly (see “Data Retention”). You may also contact us to make any of these requests.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Our legal bases for processing are your consent and the performance of our contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, use the Settings page or contact us below.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request access to or deletion of that information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. Soulign is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date above.
